Element Meditation Earth

From the Cycle of Freedom of Mahamudra

This meditation will touch the most elementary qualities of the earth as we experience them in and around ourselves. Slow movements, conflict-laden changes, deep relaxation and acceptance of inner security. In limited ability to act, all movements are initiated from the outside and responsibility remains passive.
1. Preparation - 5 Min.
Relax your body, let your thoughts go, move along the music in dance, shaking, running, jumping - totally.
2. The big mass - 20 Min.
Lie down on the floor, on your back or on your belly with closed eyes. Let the deep and supporting sounds carry you into a big warm darkness, but remain conscious. Do a quater-turn at the triple drum beat and remain in this position till the next triple beat of the drum. Become silent with the interluding music and ready for the silence.
3. Silence - 20 Min.
Sit or stand with closed eyes. Let the feeling of the earth with its lively calmness and its limits go through you again and witness everything that is going on inside of you.
4. Coming Back - 5 Min.
Come back slowly into your body, into the Here and Now. Open your eyes and begin to move gently and carefully with the music, without losing your centre and inner peace.
