History of the Osho Manjusha Meditation Center
2002 - 2006: High times and constructions
New buildings are planned, a very comfortable meditation hall called "Osho" and two houses for guests and the commune are built, a third is already in preparation. Now there are flats to rent and freehold apartments available.
During these years up to 34 people are living in the commune.
The programme offers a wide range of meditation and transformation possibilities as well as creative weekends like archery, cooking, fitness etc.
Visitors are coming from different parts of Germany and Europe.
From time to time even from other continents.
In 2003, the New Dawn Meditation Center in Dresden moves into its own house with much more space and garden. In Schmiedeberg, Mahamudra begins to pass on the responsibility step-by-step to several commune-teams while still supporting everyone in their spiritual development. Her own journey leads her more and more inwards. In May 2006, Mahamudra leaves her body silently.
since 2006 - changes and refoundations
The following years, the place and the commune undergo several changes.Finding new ways without Mahamudra and yet integrating what we have learned from her is the challenge.
We decided to carry on with the Meditation Center as a limited company in August 2007.
The manifold activities and tasks which come along with leading a Center are carried out by several small teams.
Now, all important decisions are prepared and discussed mutually. The love to Osho and the experience of all the preceding years of intense meditation, work on the consciousness and living together in love with Mahamudra have formed a basis for a further way together.
Everything is in the flow and life in the Manjusha is always an adventure.
Existence is on our side and supports our steps -
and quite often we are surprised how quick we are moving forward...
