History of the Osho Manjusha Meditation Center
1987 Manjusha Rajneesh Meditation Center Wales, UK
On the 11th April 1987, Osho gives the name "Manjusha" to Mahamudras new built center.
A center in the countryside of Wales is built up together
with her partner Dharma Param. The center comprises a small
meditation room, counselling sessions, pets, a joiner's workshop
and home-made bread and wine.

During summertime, kids camps invite sannyas children to have a
great time on Wales' beaches. Some people stay, in the end,
2 persons turn into 8, 4 of them children.
1989 Kids-Commune in Pune / India
As
the death of Osho is drawing near, the center in Wales is
closed and Mahamudra moves back to Poona. The old center house is sold and a new task
is waiting: kids' commune. A marvellous place for kids who don't
find room anymore in the Pune ashram.
In the beginning, there are
6 people: Mahamudra, Dharma, Navyo, Tamanna as head and teacher,
along with Laila and her friend, the first kids.
What follows is a rapid development: up to 60 children are
visiting the new school, partly with overnight stays. A bus
is purchased and a programme is designed with lessons, trips
and meditations for children. New teachers and people who
want to take care are joining in. Even a 2 weeklong journey across
India to Gujarat is organised.
In the midst of all those events, Osho is leaving his body
in 1990. The school remains open until 1992, visited and loved till
the end by teachers and children.
